At The King’s Kitchen, senior citizens enjoy a satisfying luncheon and are presented with an entertaining program on the first Saturday of each month. The King’s Kitchen welcomes all seniors, whatever their religious affiliation or beliefs. This program is provided as a community service at no cost to our guests.

LOCATION

The King’s Kitchen is held at the Ringwood Baptist Church. We are pleased to provide this program as a service to our community’s senior citizens. There is no cost to our guests.

OUR GUESTS

Our guests are seniors who live in our community and its surrounding areas. If you are a senior citizen or know of someone who would benefit from an afternoon activity, please feel free to give our church, Ringwood Baptist Church a call to find out more.  If you know of a senior citizen who does not wish to attend alone, please feel free to accompany them.

THE LUNCHEON

At our luncheon you will find a delicious home cooked meal, extraordinary table settings (complete with centerpieces and take-home table favors) and dozens of new friends.

Do you like Turkey Tetrazzini? Baked Ziti with Italian sausage? What about a picnic lunch, complete with homemade potato salad? Are you partial to desserts (hot fudge sundaes, carrot cake, or homemade apple pie)? If you are a senior citizen and any of these appeal to your appetite, we invite you to join us for a lunch at The King’s Kitchen. Chef John and his wonderful crew of volunteers, pay special attention to each meal. If you have special dietary requirements, give the church a call (at least a week in advance) and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you. Come taste this sumptuous fare, and we know you’ll be back…

Lunch is served at 12:00 noon.

TRANSPORTATION

Because some of our guests find transportation a problem, we provide rides to and from The King’s Kitchen, for local residents.  You must, however, phone in advance to make these arrangements. Call the Ringwood Baptist Church to make reservations.
